Classes are taught by Kim Bengel, a certified Yoga Teacher (500 hr). She has been teaching yoga since 2015 with extensive training in the fitness field since 2005. She currently holds certificates in the following: Personal Training, Aerial Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Double Certified in Yin Yoga, Buti Yoga, Thai Bodywork Practitioner, and Trigger Point Therapy for Chronic Pain.

Body Sculpt Yoga

Body Sculpt Yoga is blend of BUTI and YIN YOGA. The first 30 minutes of each class uses Spiral Structure Technique® movements during segments to SCULPT + TONE the entire body while moving seamlessly into Low Intensity static yoga asanas to stretch the opposing muscle group, enhancing recovery speed and preventing injury. The final 30 mins of each class, we’ll slow things down and take it down to the mats with Yin Yoga for a complete workout!
Body Sculpt workouts are excellent for burning maximum body fat due to the segments of max heart rate (MHR) and max effort. The EPOC (Excess Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption) is maximized after performing Body Sculpt workouts. The benefits of maximized EPOC include hormone balancing, cellular repair, and drastically increased metabolism for the 36 hour period following a Body Sculpt workout.

Aerial yoga uses the swing to support the weight of the body so you can attain optimal alignment in yoga poses, decompress the spine while strengthening the core muscles, access deeper backbends, and sustain challenging inversions. With practice the swing becomes your partner in practice, shifting your awareness to every edge of your body. Experience length, strength and depth like never before.
What to wear:
Please wear long leggings and a close-fitting top or leotard to avoid friction burns on the fabric. We also recommend a t-shirt vs a tank top. No jewelry allowed while on the fabric. We also ask that you keep nails short to avoid snagging the fabric.
